Berkay Demirkan is an award winning photographer with three personal and one collaborative exhibitions to his name. His works have been featured by various publications such as Yacht Magazine, Hotels Magazine, Home & Design Magazine, and Washington Spaces Magazine.

Part of the inspiration for his focus on the visual arts in both his personal and professional life, came from his time, starting in 2001, as technology manager and webmaster at the “Librarie de Pera” auction house, a 5-story facility filled with books, antiques, and art, including paintings and statues, spanning the 1500s through the 1900s. During his time there, he developed relationships with internationally-recognized artists, including photojournalist Ara Guler, Master of Leica, Légion d’honneur (http://www.araguler.com.tr/) and painter Bedri Baykam (http://bedribaykam.com/en), which steered him towards focusing on visual arts, photography and communication in his subsequent endeavors.
